This spider was crawing 15 feet from my house. I live at 7000 ft. near Parley's Summit close to I-80. My house backs and borders thousands of acres of National Forest. I coated it with 4 coats of clear acrylic spray which darkened it slightly and brought out thte fuzzy legs/body. It has black and white stripe patterns under the legs, 2 clawed fangs or teeth in front...I think its a tarantula... THANKS!

It is some sort of a myglamorph which includes tarantulas and trapdoor spiders. I think it was a bit cruel to coat the poor thing in acrylic spray!!
